(But that is for another review.) All in all I wish we had just stayed in Roswell and not waste our day, time and money! If you are closterphobic I really do not recommend, because it is very packed in the tram. There is a restaurant at the top, which is expensive and the food was not good. The gentleman that guarded the entrance to go up to the tram acted like Gandalf from Lord of the Rings (No one shall pass!) But you have to go through him to even get to the bathroom.
The staff that worked loading and checking your tickets were rude. At the top of the mountain the view was nice but not for how long we had to wait to get up there. Once we got on the crowded tram, it was a 15 minute trip to and from the top of the mountain. The only have two trams running and it holds 48 people each. When we got there it was a hour and a half wait.
We purchased our tickets online and picked the 9:00-3:00 time frame for $30 per person. My sister's, dad and myself were I Roswell for the UFO festival and decided to drive three and a half hours to the Sandia Tram, the pictures and website looked amazing.
